Default GPS Mount ?

Thanks to all who replied to my earlier question about the HD Quest GPS vs Zumo. I'm convinced the Zumo is the way to go.
Now I need recommendations for a mount. Two questions:
Is there a reliable fairing mount?
Would the same handlebar mount work for both a Street Glide and a Road King?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Mount is included with the Zumo 550 & unless you went to Chubby Bars it will fit both bars

I like this mount from Kurkayn. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=All&ci=3803 I like the fact that you cane remove the gps and the part that remains on the bars is chrome and every minimal.

That eCaddy looks awesome. Just ordered one for my Nano. They have one that mounts to the bar, and one that mounts to the switch housings.

But skip Kury, order directly from the manufacturer:

But I'm not sure if I'd use one for my Zumo. I prefer the Techmount, shown below, as you can adjust the arm to make sure the GPS is right where you want it.

I'd take a look at what Powerlet has to offer for a Zumo

Peice is good, made in USA.

I have used the RAM mounts for everything from Satellite radio to a cup holder. Never let me down.

Techmount ...............very nice mount,i went with the blk techmount, because it blends in with my handcontrols and inner fairing better. I got the ram mounts with the zumo 550, dont care for the look of ram mounts, look like they should be mounted on a atv ,LOL IMHO
to each his own,i just prefer the looks of the techmount over the ram mount

Look into the Powerlet Plus socket for on your bar, it comes with a 1" ball that fits the RAM Mounts that come with the Zumo. With this combo and the Powerlet Zumo power cable you should be able to quickly remove the mount and GPS unit leaving only the Powerlet Plus on the bar. It's my plan as soon as the bike gets into the dealership next month!
