I don't have any problem that I am aware of with my motor mounts, but by their nature they must be a wear item. I just wondered what their workinglifespan might be.
I know this will be dependant on age and use, but just considering mileage does any one have any idea.
Hi,
I have 80,000 miles on my 1999 Road King, and my motor hasn't fallen out of the frame yet.
In all honesty, even with those miles, mineseem to bestill in good condition, no cracks, or signs of wear.
[align=left]I ride an 07 Ultra. 27k miles and no mount trouble. If it's going to fail do it now while the motor co. warranty is still in effect.

i have ~60,000 on my 04 egc and still in good shape. I have never let the oil run on it when changing the filter. I use tin foil to cover everything. I think oil tends to cause them to break down. I have seen them fail in a few thousand miles.
