I just installed a tou-pak on my 07 RG, and I am getting the 14' small black flex antenna's, I am just curious if it will be a problem when I cover my bike. I do not have a nice heated garage (yet), I will be building a shed to house my bike this summer, so till then I use a full cover. Might get the Half shell for the season. Just looking for a way to cover without the antenna's causing a headache. Thanks for any advice.
I got a generic full cover at my HD dealership....it has a velcro strip you can open up to poke the antennas through, then reseal it around the antenna. Personally I wouldn't just let the cover rest on the tips of the antenna.
Bought a cheaper cover (water repellent , but still breathable)......cut two holes in the cover. Many may not agree with the idea; but works great for me as the bike is mostly in the garage........
