I gotta admit, I would never have asked that question on a forum--those bags would have sat in the garage or been butchered by me trying to get them open before I'd have asked.

It is pretty much a no-brainer opening those things. The day I borrowed my friends Ultra, I was concerned the one side didn't latch, soI locked em. I asked him afterward, he said both bagger's he's had were that way and he never had one come open.

Lift the latch all of the way up. Push the lid to the 'inside' of the bag. Lift the lid towards you.
Reverse the process to close them.
Not trying to be a smart-*** here...but if you really had to come to a computer to get this answer...I'm not sure you should be on a bike.
C'mon...the best was the guy that asked what the silver **** was for on the lower part of the inner fairing.....he was referring to the lighter!!!!

LMAO, right after I got my bike I went on a little trip and we stopped on the state line to put on helmets, I was like "what the heck is that!" "whoo hoo a lighter" LOL [sm=icon_rofl.gif]
And yes the bags are difficult to open off the bike...

well. i got a call from my daughter one day. seems she was locked IN the car with the top down. yep. teenagers. she was in backseat and seems brother put the seat back over the top of her feet and against her legs and walked away.trapped her in the open car.and we're not Polish
