What should a person expect to pay for insurance on a 2006 Road King Custom. I am just starting to look into insurance and am wanting to have a ball park figure to start with. I live in Iowa. Thanks for all your help.
Go to Gieco. I went to Progressive last year and paid $340.00 for a 95 fxstc then when I went back for a 05 FLHT they charged me $750.00. I went to Geico for the FLHT this year and it came to $450.00. It is also based on coverage. Go on line and get free quotes.
I just got done with the insurance game in Michigan. Gieco doesn't offer for this state. Progressive was my best buy, However there strong support for the ACLU (to the tune of over 6 Million last year) Is enough to make me forget about them. Allstate was the winner $516. full coverage for the year. And I can drop the comprehensive during storage months. I just didn't fell good about giving everybody ALL that info online so I picked up the phone for my quotes. Good luck --Jay
Foremost. I have 05 Road King. Full coverage except I didn't get Uninsured coverage. $217 this year. Down from $270 last year. That's with full replacement and $2000 for accessories plus road service. I've been with Allstate for 20 years for my cars and they wanted almost $900 to cover my bike.
FOREMOST INSURANCE has a ad at the top of this page. I'm an insurance agent in Kentucky & love selling the Foremost Motorcycle Insurance. Heck, they advertise here.
Thats if you live in Boston, Massachusetts. I live 35 miles north of Boston, in Massachusetts and pay just over $500. We here in MA do not have the luxury of shopping for our insurance. We have to deal with companies that are located here. Geico and Progressive are not available to us here. Our rates are dictated by where we live. Wanna live in Boston? Pay more. Wanna live in a small New Englang/Massachusetts town? Pay less.
