I absolutely love my Glide. The dealer that I purchased from treated me with nothing but respect and honesty. I would not hesitate to recommend either a HD or the dealer that sold me mine. I can not say the same thing about the other bikes (from a 90cc Yamaha twin, to achopped Norton Commando, to a BMW RT). The EG has always been my dream ride and now that I own a Harley I will never buy anything else.
Actually some people would bitch about a BJ being bad.
I ride a Harley because I always wanted one. I don't care for some of the treatment by some dealers(who I try to avoid) and I don't like the cost of some of the H-D stuff(so try to buy aftermarket when I can).
Other than that(which is a lot of people's complaints about H-D, Ford, Chevy, etc.) I love the bike.
WOW, that's a rough statement......I'm 62 now and thinking back, I can't everrecall a bad one.
Seems like 80% of the whinning and complaining on this forum comes from about the same 10 or 12 posters. Funny thing is most of you know exactly who I'm talking about,,,,,,but I bet the guilty have no idea.
Maybe I am holding the Bar and shield way to high.I know everyone Bitc%es about things that bring them great pleasure like,Your wife,or girlfriend,Someone elses Wife,or girlfriend,or just some strange BJ.Even Fat chicks and scooters, dont tell your friends there fun.It dont matter what you ride we ride cause we love to ride.Just cause I have a Harley Im no better than The guy with chaps riding a Honda VTX."Even though helooks Gay(chaps) and the bike sounds like AS%,Hes probably an alright guy.Maybe
Ride a HD??? H*ll I bought mine to lean my rakes and shovels against out in the shop, my son hangs his bicycle helmet on one mirror and his hockey helmet on the other...I was kinda wonderin why people would ride one of these things......I haven't even taken in to the stealer since I bought it either.....Whats the fuss about????
It's sorta like your family[sm=love.gif]...You can say something bad about them[sm=bicker.gif] ..but if an outsider say's something[sm=chairshot.gif]...LOOK OUT...Now that said, most off the problems you listed do exist[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]...and bitchin is what we do[sm=icon_blah.gif] ..you gotta a problem with that??[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]
Are you sure these guys have harleys that are complaining cause this usually shows up once a month, maybe they ride menstralcycles..........ask if there bikes are red.
i own both they all have problems. the only thing about harleys is that they havent changed very much so is kinda old school tech (air cooling, push rod , seperate trans, giaint primary chains, just to name a few) but they are just so cool to ride.
