IGNITION SWITCH ON EGC NOT LOCKING
I took my bike out for a ride yesterday for the first time this season ( North East resident ). When I got back I parked it in the garage, but when I went to lock the ignition switch, it would not do it ( the ignition switch was locked while stored for the winter).The only way to lock it is to use the fork lock seting, which then locks the ignition, but not the forks. Any one had this problem before ? The bike is an 06 with under 6k miles. I am sure HD wont cover it so I need to figure out if its an electronic issue or a mechanical one. I read the shop manual on it, which shows you how to remove the housing, but I dont want to go to that point yet.
Also I need to repalce the light bulb on one of my passing lamps. Any suggestions where to get one besides the local stealer ?
