Has anyone used HQ's pro tuner? I ordered one,but it is on back order. I was wondering what kind of results have been had with it? There must be some out there in use if they are on back order already.
Thanks
I have one with a PC III on my recent HQ build but can't really comment on it 'cause there's only about 250 miles on the motor since the build and most of that was put on by the builder before he got it back to me. I'm also waiting on a set of slipons for it as well.
I'll know better in a couple of weeks time.
As far as flat and broad torque cuvres go.... I have not seen anything that makes them better or more regularly than a Fatcat. There are others that may give higher "peak" torque numbers, but none make as much down low and up high.
I'm sure there are plenty of opinions... but since you asked for mine, there you have it.
Hey BM83, yes I am running the HQ Protuner and so far my expereinces have been better than expected (I had a Terminal Velocity unit previosly that I did not like, that is how I end up with a SERT unit). I am running mine piggy back on the HD SERT unit and as long as you start with a good baseline map it will auto adjust to give you the best gas mileage/performance. Based onmy most recent experience, if you make a drastic change (i.e. I switched from a Rinehart 2 into 1 to a Fatcat) make sure you reset the unit to clear the buffer of previously stored data.

All in all two thumbs up so far
That is good to know. Thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to getting it.
I also have a pro tuner and I am very happy with it I get what I think is great mpg (43.7 last I checked) and alot of power as well. Nothing but good things to say about it .
