Default Windshields..over or through

I had a windscreen on my last bike that I looked through, just barely. I think I might get a Clearview (RK Cust) but am not sure if I want to look through it or over it as I ride. I'm wondering if there is anyone who has had both and which they ended up preferring.

Been there, done that. I'm much more comfortable looking over than through.

My 2 cents

Done both. Looking through the stock 12, over a 9, over an 8 with recurve and have gone back to the stock 12. For me it's just so much more comfortable, less stress on my neck from buffeting etc. But that's just me.....

Have done all 3!

Looked thru
Looked over
Had the top edge of the windshield right at eye level. [:@]

Much prefer looking OVER!

I've had both on my RKC.
I cut the stocker down 2" to see over it.
Replaced it with a 17" Clearview about the same time I went to a lower seat.
The Clearview is superior despite being an inch shorter than the stocker after the cutdown.
I believe the stocker was about 20" originally.
