I had my oil changed by the dealer this week and he put in synthetic oil by accident instead of regular.
Now I noticed my oil guage is reading higher than it did before when I'm riding but comes back down to normal when stopped. Is this normal? Thanks.
If your are smart, you will keep using the synthetic oil, and not go back to regular oil. Your bike will run cooler, and you woun't have to change oil as often.
I run Amsoil 20-50wt., and run the entire riding season on one oil and filter change, 10,000 miles. I now have 80,000trouble free miles on a 1999 RoadKing. I've run Amsoil in itsince it was new.Love the Amsoil oil.
Oil gauge.....? I have heard of them, but have not installed one yet.
As long as I have oil pressure, I am happy! LOL
I agree with using synthetic or at least a 'blend' though.
