I picked up a set of VH basic slip ons last year. Put them on in July. I had to install new baffles with packing/wrap. After about 5-6 months of riding miles (long snowy winter) I pulled the left baffle after it seemed to be getting louder. I found about a third of the fiberglass packing/wrap gone. I pulled it and replaced with a basic muffler packing (not as dense as VH) and it helped. Anyone have this problem? I assme it will happen again. Are the SuperTrapp a mechanical baffle with no wrap? Would these be a better solution? As always thanks for the help.
