Horn is relocated inside the fairing (right side near those brackets that keep breaking). I have the MoCo fan - WOULD NOT recommend it - the fan blade is all plastic and between the heat and vibration the hole gets enlarged and then starts to wobble. Wobbles enough to make noise even when the fan is not running.
The Lacie fan (I think that is the name) seems the best bet (has a higher RPM motor, looks a bit better, and seems easier to install).
That is a Lenale fan.. I have one down here in S. Florida. Hardwired to my batt. Works great.. Will start to rust in the wire grill section.. I plan on painting mine black.. Still having issues about the horn.
The horn they send with the kit sounds like a "vespa"..
So I bought the Kuryakyn hidden horns.. But have figured a way to mount just in front of the Lenale fan.. Going to finish up that install next week..!!
They do not blow through more around the fins. the air flow bends around jugs and away.
This week I will put the laser heat gun on to test temp with and with out fan.
20 minutes to install with cup of coffee. The horn that came with it was not so great I will mount factory horn some were else.
