Ain't dealt w/'em so can't speak to specifics, but lemme ask ya sumthin' - how many emails an HOUR d'ya figger they git? 50? A hunnert? Ah wouldn't even wanna GUESS, but you kin bet they're swamped, an' they likely go down 'em one at a time. Yer shoppin' for price rather than service (or ya'd be at yer local dealer), so ya gotta kinda take what ya git, ah'm afraid!
Swapped is not an excuse as a way of business. By the threads of several many are having problems over the last few months.
I have never had a problem with the business below and Zanottis even beats Chicago Harley price in most cases. They let you know up front what the waiting time is , answer the phones promptly and return e-mails in a reasonabel time frame. They are in business to serve the Customer.
Don't let the businesses trainned you into waiting and ignoring you and letting you know that is acceptable as long as you get it for the right price. Waiting is acceptable only under the limited conditions. If we trainned the businesses by letting them know it is unacceptable I bet they will address the problem.
10+ points to Zanottis and M&M Cycles!
I won't even deal with them anymore. Miserable service and turn-around time. Had been dealing with Charlie's in WV for HD parts but they discontinued 20% off parts. So all of my money is going to M&M and Zanottis now. Dealt with both plenty in the past but I always price shopped between them, Discount Cycle Parts and Chicago. Not even gonna bother anymore. Those two have given the best service so they will continue to get my business.
FWIW, most businesses (as in reps on the front line trying to respond) HATE email for order generating/processing...it is the worst way to "try" to do business.
A single "simple" inquiry can turn into pages and pages of dialogue and that can kill any kind of service expectation.
I just did a price check on Zanotti's and Chicago for the following parts:
Color Matched Inner Fairing 58546-08CPH
Color Matched Fairing Cap 58545-08CPH
Aux Light Kit HD 69818-06 235
Bulbs for Aux Lights 68450-04A
Visor, Passing Lamps 69732-05
Chrome BremboÂŽ Brake Caliper 42012-06A
Chrome Floating Brake Rotor 44944-08
And I see a $4 difference (+ for Zanotti's) But after reading all the headaches about Chicago....
Of course I have neverdealt with eitherof them.
So I have no frame of reference except their price.
