Black fork slider install...
Bought the black upper and lower fork sliders for my 07 Street Glide and was just wondering how difficult the install was? What all do you have to do to get them on? Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

I removed mine and had a buddy do the guts..the only pain was getting the top fork nut off.You need a real thin wrench/tool to remove it so you can slide the tube down. put a better oil maybe diff weight to help w/ the mushy f-end too.. Oh don't forget to put the rubber d-nuts on when you slide the tubes back up..
Don't need to tell you how I know.. Your bikes gonna look great go for it. Remove tire,calipers,(hang w/ wire off Engine guard),fender. ing, lock, lower dash, loosen pinch bolts, then cuss and swear and remove upper fork nut(don't let it fork fall down) I think you need a special tool to remove the cartridge fork..
Why is only 1 fork cartridge type ?? Mines an 02 flht but I think its the same.. You need to bemd over the tabs on the fender bolts to remove them
