Sealing Tears
Yesterday my boot somehow caught my backrest on Ultra putting two small tears in the fabric. Any ideas what to use to seal the tears before they get bigger? I can live with whats there but if they get bigger I'll have to recover or get a new riders backrest.

I DID THE SAME THING! TO REPAIR I GENTLY LIFTED UP THE "TEAR" AND USED CLEAR SILICONE. SQURITED A BIT UNDER THE TEAR,AND PRESSED DOWN, CLEAN EXCESS OFF. A BIT NOTICEABLR IF YOUR LOOKING, BUT IT HAS NEVER GOTTEN "BIGGER" OR COME LOOSE. GOOD LUCK

get one of those leather repair kits at autozone. they are cheap and work great.i used one to repair a tear in my leather tour pak and it made it look like nothing was ever there.
