The wife and I were riding around the other day, going no place in perticular, just enjoying the day. We round a slight curve about 40 mph and notice a couple ducks crossing the road just infront of us. I immediatly let off the throttle and move to the right side of the road, as they were right on the center line at this point. Just as we got to them, they take off flying, RIGHT FOR MY HEAD. I get on the back break heavy, and it locks up. I duck myself and JUST miss the duck!!
Sooo, lets recap:
1. Riding 2-up at 40 mph
2.Duck going kamakazi atmy head
3. Swerve and brake heavily
4. Power slide 800lb bike + 2 FULLY grown adults
5. Miss duck by inches
6. Stop to clean shorts. lol
Thats a funny story BamBamBlazer! Glad everything worked out ok!
A buddy of mine was acually buzzed by a hawk or falcon of some kind! Most bizarre thing.
Brothers friend was taken out by a duck, hit him square in the side of the head.
Both the duck and driver walked away. Guy had just pulled away from a stop sign
and was making quick left turn,so luckily he was going real slow, but the duck
was speeding.
