I have a 06 ultra and my brother has a 07 ultra both cd players skiped and harley replaced
both of them.Under factery warranty on the 07 and extened warranty on my 06
I am having trouble with mymusic skipping while playing home burntmp3 cd's. Is this common or should i look for a problem?
Check out www.d_skin.com. You canpick up a 5 pack can at a local Publix supermarket. They are 5CD/DVD disc protectors. Theysnap onto the disc and help keep them from scratches and they keep the CD from skipping while playing. They have a bright orange ring that snaps to the edge of your discs. They cost about $6.00 per pack. Plus tax. Hope this helps. [sm=smiley20.gif]
If your burning your own "data MP3" formated discs the trick is too burn them on the slowest possible baud rate. It makes for a higher quality burn. Also I have found that Maxell CDs Suck and I have had problems with those cheap ones. I buy Memorex and they seem to burn great.
