I am thinking of getting a personalized plate for my RKC and have one in mind and want to see what everyone else has gone with. I'm thinking of doing something that is "KING" specific, of which most of the good ones are gone in WA [:@], so a little help and imagination would be much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for the ideas/pics - Jon
Being a Police Officer I got Virginia's FIGHT TERRORISM Plate with my badge # on it...

Ok, so I'm not a PO, so how does this help me? By the way, how are those new RK high bars working out? I'm still waiting for some time off to do the install....... Weather still sucks here in WA and I'm off for 4 days so maybe now's a good time....
Not to be rude, but you asked, "what everyone else has gone with" and he told you. The idea is, it's a "personalized" plate. It should have some meaning to you, otherwise why waste the extra money to use someone else's idea? With a gazillion Road Kings out there, if you're looking for someone to come up with a plate to make you real cool, chances are it's been used. Just like you should customize your own bike to be truly yours, so should your plate follow.
My $.02, too many people trying to "customize" to be like everyone else. If it ain't unique, it ain't custom!
I just went through the same thing, and I'm in WA. Here are a few that I came up with, but didn't use. They're not great, but like you said most of the good ones are taken. These were still available in February:

Ok, first of all, FIV_O_PO_PO know's I'm kidding, hence the second question asked to him! Second, didn't your momma tell you "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything"? I asked a question about personalized plates; if you don't have any positive input, move on to the next topic! Thank you for your candor, by the way. FYI...Get a few more posts under your belt before you become cocky and rude Froggy!

No Ackes or Pains... The only problem I am having is that my throttle hand goes numb... but that happened w/ my last bike too... I am going to elivate that problem with a Throttle Rocker...
HOPE ALL WORKS OUT FOR YOU...
