im dropping the SG off tonite to finally get SERT installed and dyno tuned. really looking forward to getting it back and seeing the results. i'll update the post with results after i get it back.
Please let us know what you think and all the details. i am really curious to see what you think. Please also let us know the rest of your set up.....pipes...a/c..the like.
Be sure to ask for a copy on a CD (or have them email the mt6 file to you). If you ever have to reload the map you will need it. You might find it interesting to compare the modified map to the stock map, this is easily done in the SERT software.
Post numbers, I have the same combo, except BUB 7 TD's and SE heavy breather, would beinteresting to know what the difference is? Mine made 80hp and 89 tq.

I'd really like to see your numbers too. I have a similar setup except for V&H ovals. I hear the Rineharts make more power. I got 74.3 HP and 90.1 torque. They put AFR at around 13:1.
it will be interesting to see the results and compare them with different exhaust systems. i did ask him about the cables and he said i will get everything back when he is done with it. then he said he will give me the map to keep in case its needed in the future.
I am installing SERT, Stage 1 Intake, and Dyno on May 5th. I have RH slipons. I am going to have them run a baseline Dyno run before doing the SERT or Stage 1 Intake so I can see what my money really got me.
Who keeps the hookup wires? My friend has the c.d. and the sert but no wires, what's up?
The latest versions of the SERT don't come with cables - you have to order them separately. Shops typically have the cables - butyour friend shouldget a set for himself.
i got the SG back tonite, i ended up with 76hp ans 94tq.i didnt get to ride it alot but was impressed asit feels like it pulls alot harder on roll ons.it had a terrible lean surgebefore anddidnt feel that at all. he told mewhat he set the AFR at but i dont remember what he said.he told me to ride it some and let him know if i was happy with it or wanted anything changed. hopefully saturday i will be able to put some miles on it and see what i think. my tuner has been a dynojet dyno center for over 12 years for motorcycles and now also has a snowmobile dyno too.. he has built some wicked motors for race teams fromnitro drag bikes, dirt track bikes, quads, harley drag bikes, and anything else down to justtuning SERT as he did for me. if anyone is needing a dyno tune in central Illinois his website is http://www.jayriddleracing.com or we can hook up and i'll take you there and introduce you to him.
