is it really worth the money... i have heard that it doesnt really help much with volume just a bit more bass. I dont know i was about to get one and then read some post and kinda shyed away from it.

Mine has quit working. I think it has a short or loose wre somewhere. I will have to take it off and find out whats up. What is the warrenty for them I wonder?

Hogtunes speakers are warranted for a period of 20 years to the original purchaser.
Hogtunes Amplifiers are warranted for 1 year from original purchase
date. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. All Warranty
claims must be made through the dealer this product was originally purchased
from. Speakers found to be defective during the warranty period will be repaired
or replaced (with a product deemed to be equivalent) at Hogtunes sole
discretion. Amps will be repaired.
What Is Not Covered:
1)Any expense related to the removal or re-installation of Hogtunes products.
2)Repairs to these products performed by anyone other than Hogtunes.
3)Subsequent damage to any other components.
4)Any product purchased from a non-authorized Hogtunes dealer.
5)Damage to Hogtunes products due to an accident or collision.
6)Hogtunes Amplifiers with broken or removed “warranty void” sticker.

I've got the Hogtunes speakers, and an 07 EGC with the Harmon Kardon CD/MP3 player, I feel like a lot of the CD based MP3s I play drive the amp into clipping and it sounds distorted. I like it LOUD.
So, is the amp going to help with decreasign the distortion? I don't really need much more volume, but would like better/cleaner sound.

I have the ht amp on my 04 egc (just front speakers)and it helps all the way around. When the volume is cranked it makes the music more crisp and definetly improves the clairity. If you bought yours directly from PEZ at hogtunes he will take care of you even if your warranty is over. I had one of if not the first amps he put out and I started getting a high pitched squelch noise when I turned it on and Pez was great.
