i can not get my fairing on the hooks on a 08 rg. can someone tell me how to get the slots in fairing over the hooks. i just can't seem to do it. is there a trick or something
When you have the fairing off, pop the headlight plate off. On the back of the headlight plate, you'll see 3 green clips. Squeeze them and let it come off the fairing.
This way you'll be able to see the hooks as you put the fairing back on. Once it's back on, just connect the lights and push the headlight plate back in. You should hear 3 clicks as the green clips engage the fairing.
That's all there is to it. This is the easiest way to put the outer fairing back on...trust me.
