my buddy has a Snap on tire machine with electronic balancer, I have had him do Hondas, BMW's and my Harley and I have had an occassion where no weight was needed. He balances to a .25 of an ounce. I have needed as much as 2 ounces as well. Just for kicks we always check the rim w/o tire to find the high/low spot and my Harley wheels as big and clunky as they are spot on for balance.
