My streetglide came from the factory with the inner fairing mirrors. I am in the process of installing a painted inner fairing and the new painted one does not have any holes for were the mirrors go. Does anyone have the install sheet from harley for exactly were they get mounted i guess you could say a templete. I just dont wanna drill the holes and have them off a bit.
If you have your old fairing, use that as the templete, thats what we did on my buddies bike. The whole deal worked out great. I bought one off ebay and had it painted to match my bike, then I past on my stock one to my buddy and so on and so on. We ended up doing 4 bikes all together, now I have to get off my butt and get the non painted one back out on ebay
When I drilled mine they turned out a bit too low and inside. I would like to reposition them, but what about the old holes? Can they be plugged, or will I just end up with swiss cheese in my fairing?
