I find there is no one answer to the question....it depends on outside temp, how hard the rain is and wind direction. I have a set of clear lense glasses for the rain as well as a set of goggles and find neither work all the time. I find that during a heavy rain my main focus is finding a safe place to take cover and i use the Hd rain wipe for my windshield when i can get it on before it rains.

Life is Great.....We all Ride!!!!!...sometimes in crappy weather....

I have two pairs of Wilex-X Romer II (prescription) - one in blue mirrors and the other in yellow. I just wear the yellow pair. No real issues.

For long rides.......full face helmet(w/ full shield); open all the vents on it........(seems to minimize fogging)

For everyday rides, (1/2 helmet or no helmet) I use a pair of transparent riding glasses (similar to sunglasses) always keep them on the bike.......
