I have an 08 FLHTC with the detachables set up for my tour pack and want to buy a Wall mounted storage rack for it when I take it off the bike and be able to put it somewhere safe! There are so many manufacturers out ther making them has anyone ordered and used on ? who made it, was it good quality? Would you reccomend them and or buy again? Thanks Bill
I am interested in this as well. I have a chopped tour pak and a king tour pak and I am looking at the wall mounted racks. There are a few on ebay that I need to look into more.
The original Tour Pack Rackis our design and is availablefor $124.95 at www.hellsfoundry.com.Construction is solid steel with a powder-coat finish (black or silver vein). It holds 1 Tour Pack (any style), 1 back-rest and two helmets simultaneously. If you have additional questions, please call our toll-free (866) 999-HELL (4355). Derik
I made one with $20.00 worth of materials from my local Ace hardware. It stores ALL my detachable stuff and riding gear. Here is a pic. Tour pak and backrest are 'locked' on.
Just in case you're interested in saving a buck here's the link to my DIY on such things. Mine is very rudimentary, but others have posted there slick ideas within the same forum.
