6 Speed Trany or Primary Gear???

I am considering installing a 6 speed transmission on my 2006 RKC and remember reading on this forum many months ago of someone who changed their primary grear with great results. Can anyone direct meto the string that discusses this ............. or give some advice regarding the subject? I rode this past weekend with a guy on a 6 speed Heritage and for every 100 miles of riding we did, he put in 1/2 gallon less of gas than I did. Seems like a good idea but would like to get more information from those "in the know" besides my Harley dealer.

You can find the primary gear change by doing a search using "3.37" without the quotation marks.
