YOU WILL NOT FEEL THE TORQUE LOSS! It may show up on a dyno, but we are talking 1-3 maybe 5 ft-lbs tops. Trust me, you won't miss that. Get what you think looks/sounds best.
Personally, I think the sound of the pro-pipe and the th are the way a Harely should sound. I just don't like the looks of a 2-1 on a bagger.

A lot of people, including me disagree with that statement. Losing up to 5 ft/lb of torque, particularly where you lose it, can be felt. It's just a matter of what you are willing to accept.
Way to LOUD.... Sold ... these were the new BP Pro Pipe , lasted all of 800 miles
I got 2 tickets in Los gatos , Ca. 106db [:@] / Could not hear my radio or my G/F on freeway..and V&H dose not offer optional quite baffle or offer any warning..
Love my new true dual w/o cross over Bub 7..with the V&H Fuel Pak....
Bub is soon to have optional Quite and Loud Baffle
Had I not worked at Zoom Cycles and was able to sell the 2into1 Pro BP at my cost $$ for No loss of $$ I would be even madder.........
I thought the pipes were a little loud (wife thinks they're way too loud), but not as loud as the Hookers on the old Road King. After putting about 2000 miles on them, they are a lot mellower. I can hear the music fine on the road just fine. So, don't make an instant decision on the sound as it changes as they break in. The looks are something you either like or don't.
Hopefully you will be able to see the pics of a comparaison between a D&D FatCat and Rinehart TD. These were on the same bike one right after the other and tuned properly for the exhaust being used. As you can tell the peak numbers are pretty close to each other but the torque curve is a difference of night and day. If you are comparing 2 into 1 with the V&H TD then the difference is even greater. That is because the V&H TD header pipes are not stepped. These dyno runs were on a 98" motor. 2into1 will outperform a TD system everytime. It's all about what you like as far as looks, performance and sound.
I have 8000 miles on mine and love them. They are loud if you jump on the throttle, but otherwise mellow and quieter than the D&Ds with std baffles. I have not heard them next the D&D quiet baffle, so I can not compare. I am sitting at 93.6 HP and 100.3 TQ on my 96ci.
