First big road trip!
Me and the woman are planning our firstbig trip and decided to head to the Black Hills in the middle of June, never been there! Going to rent a cabin and and see the sites!

I didn't know what to expect from spending 24/7 with my wife for 8 days. What I found was it brought us very close . . . literally. It is a wonderful way to spend time together. Made our relationship even stronger even after being married 25 years. Great experience.

My wife and I did out first long trip last December. Did 2800 miles from Washington to Arizona and back.

Deadwood and the Black Hills got 3 feet of freekin snow yesterday!

Beware of fatigue-induced loss of attentionlate in the day after many hours of riding, especially on the first couple of days.
Otherwise, have a great trip. Beautiful country up there.
Stay safe & watch out for those crazy cagers (they're everywhere, they're everywhere)!

Dont know if it's there anymore or not, but back in 74 my wife and I toured there and saw the Black Hills Passion Play. (outdoors, somewhere in the hills) an incredible presentation and it is known all over. I don't know that they do it every year.
