I recently "lucked up" on a 99 FLTHCUI. I had to replace the handlebar, inner, and outer fairing. The bike ran great all electrics worked before I began. Now it won't start.(turn over) The fuel pump doesn't work nor the front lights. Not even the dash lights. The horn works, the rear light works, the rear turn signals work. I have rechecked every plug and every fuse. Nothing. Have I walked into a loop or is this another secret Harley thing. Thanks for any help.
May be multiple wiring issues, but first, check the KILL switch wiring very carefully. That would cover the fuel pump and no start and maybe some of the other problems. Could be a pinched wire or maybe an open wire.
I finally found the problem. I am not going to put the radio back. That is the problem. Without the radio installed and ground nothing from the starter forward works!!!!!!!!!! Another Harley thingie. Any ideas? No I don't want the radio in if there is a work around.
