Just got Chubby 518's on the RKC. I'm 6',0" but long arms. Best add so far to my ride. Sit straight up now and bars are at correct height. No more shoulder pain.

Live2ride, whatCandyx means is that after you get done puttin' on your ridiculous'beach' bars (and I'm talkin' the long, wide, swoopyunits) maybe you and the 'beach bar' crowd would like to ride down andtake in a movie. Say.. 27 Dresses or MadeOf Honoror Baby Mama or some such. Now do you get it?
I have them on my 07 streetglide and love them. have not been on long trip yet, but have road a couple hundred miles and i am gald i have them. just got the bike back from getting custom work done, will post pics soon.
No problemowiseguyups, take one Harley, add nancyboy swoopy beach bars and you have the makings for a totally newbike club - the Gay Caballeros. The credo could be " I love it when my chaps ride up".
There ya go - one explanation, hold the political correctness and thank you very much.
I'm 5'7" on a good day. I've had a couple of riders come take Ride Like A Pro on their RK with Beach Bars, and let me ride their bikes. My big complaint is that when turned to a full lock position, being smaller my arms are pretty far out, and I'm leaning forward. The bars also made lock to lock, back and forth turns harder because you have more to push. They looked nice, and were comfy when riding in a straight line, but I found them difficult when riding slow and working the bars lock to lock. One of the riders could not even get to full lock on his bike. He said he was going to change them out to different bars instead.
Wild 1 makes two wider handlebars; the RK I and the RK II. I am 6' and the RK II's fit perfect.
They are about 35.5" wide. With your height, I would recommend the RK I's. They are about
33" wide and have a little more pullback, about the same rise. If you go too wide, your bars may
feel fine when riding, but will be difficult for your reach, especially when going slow. You want to make sure that your grip stays fully wrapped, so you don't let the bars slip out of your control. Good luck.
