Has anyone ever seen this done or tried it themselves?

Hey dude:
I'd be scared to death to put that chit on my scooter - think about it, you've invested a bundle, why take a chance and mess up your windshield. If you don't like what you've got just buy a replacement, they really don't cost that much. By the way, the red paint, solo seat and backrest look terrific!

I'd try it. Why not? It looks pretty cool actually.

I might not put it on a brand new shield but if I had an older one or one with a scratch or two what's to loose?

looks cool especially for the fairing windsheilds where they match right up with paint! Give it a try a windsheild is only money and you can always make more!
