Default Wiley X strap question

I'm using my Wiley X JP-2 sunglasses with the "granny" style neck leash that I snug down to my huge melon with the slider when riding. Works fine so far and I can loosen the slider when I dismount and let the glasses hang on my chest to collect doughnut crumbs at the breakfast stop.
I'd like to try the shorter snap-in elastic leash that makes the glasses more like goggles but;
1). snapping the leash in seems VERY tight and I don't want to break the ear support, is there a trick to getting the tab in?
2). don't know if I'd like them as goggles.

How many of you all use the goggle leash as opposed to the "granny" hanging leash?

Thanks for your indulgences.

All the best,

If you are using the same ones that I am thinking of all you have to do is rotate the point of connection 90 degrees and it slides out nice and easy.

I use the granny strap, the other strap felt like a bungee cord wrapped around my head plus the adjustment buckle sat in the back of my helmet and dug into my head. My .02

If I'm on a long ride I use the elastic strap. I don't find it uncomfortable. If I'm on a shorter ride I use the longer strap just because it is easier to get on and off an I can let the glasses hang and collect crumbs when I'm inside. I do get concerned about taking the elastic strap on and off. Roadhog was somewhat correct in that you rotate the clips 180 to get them off but mine still take some tugging to come loose.

I use the head strap. I keep it somewhat loose and on the top of my ears instead of behind them then it doesnt bother them as much and doesnt interfear with your helmet. my strap just snaps in and out . They are a couple years old. I dont know the model.Interchangable lenses and a strap and regular ear pieces like glasses. I always use head straps.
