According to the newspapers, since the XM/Sirius merger or take over.....Rumoris that they will come out with a new atechnology radio in the near future....Requiring all to buy this new radio for reception....So it sounds like all existing radios will be defunct!....I decided to hold off buying the HK XM till some times goes past...to see what gives?

How does that work? Are the receiver and tuner built in to the Zumo? Do you need any other controller? Where did you mount your antenna?

Well as long as this merger is taking to get approved you may never have a radio if you wait

[/quote]Part of the merger agreement was that all equipment will continue to work as is. They will come out with duel band radios that will get both but your radio you have now will continue to work. Also the price will not change unless you go to the upgraded service which would be Xm/Sirius combined.
