Yup, you never hear about the 100,000s of riders that ride safe every weekend, you only hear about the one thatgot killed.

They were definitely dried out on the sidewall. My '05 Ultra has over 38k miles and is almost 3 years old. I don't think it sits around long enough for dry rotting tires to occur. That set of Metzlers sucked !
