I copied this from a post on another board a few years ago because I laughed so hard when I read it that I almost choked & I quote:
"Every time I see a bike with a Hypercharger on it several things go through my mind: - naieve - also owns an intake Tornado (to increase MPG & HP) - also puts fuel magnets in the gas tank to increase MPG - also uses 'magic' fuel additive to increase MPG & HP - irons creases into his chaps>>>"
Some years ago, the Mr. Gasket company made a "fake blower setup" that people would put on their car so everyone would think they had a supercharged engine. You could take your Camaro, cut a hole in the hood & put one of these on it MR GASKET SETUP
Look familiar?? It did just as much for a cars performance as the Hyper does for a bike (IE: absolutely nothing over & above an SE air cleaner)
Honestly, no offense to anyone who likes them, when I see one on a bike it just screams "silly chrome gee-gaw!" It's supposed to look like something it ain't (off a car no less). I have a friend with a flat beautiful Dyna, stretched tanks, $5000.00 in paint, and one of these silly *** air cleaners. Ruins the whole deal for me. Oh yeah it sounds like a pro stocker, but runs worse than an old stocker.

Boy, I agree 100%.
I can't count the number of times a buddy & I have been checking out a slick looking ride & then someone remarks "it's beautiful, if only they had skipped that silly looking air cleaner it would be perfect, that ruins the whole effect of the bike...."
One of those thing that show some power gain on dyno and in lab but in the realk world nothing but hype. Nothing new they been around along time.
