can that be happining to my 02 roadking? same problem. dealer thinks it is a pinhole in the fuel line, but seems more electrical to me, but what do i know. this is my first ride on two wheels.
Buddy of mine had the same problem, took it to the stealer and they replaced the ingition switch. It died again on the way home. Turned out it was the circuit breaker, it sits infront of the battery thus behind the rear jug and when it gets hot it trips. Give it a few minutes \\;to cool and it will reset. On the '04s they went to the maxi-fuse because of this problem. He just replaced the circuit breaker with the maxi-fuse.
This may not be applicable to an 03, but my buddy had an 01 with very similar problems. After the dealer kept throwing parts at it, including a new ECM, we found some internet talk about a problem with the tip sensor. Dealer kept saying no, that's not it, but after they had it for 2 weeks on their dyno trying to find the problem, they proclaimed they had found the problem and replaced the tip sensor....no more problems.
