You are all talking about hosehold hdy peroxide which is not but a couple percent pure. pure hdy. peroxide will eat off paint or anything else. if you swallowed it you would be dead before it got to where your stomach used to be . It's been used for rocket fuel in the past.

Here in Florida the "Love Bugs" swarm twice a year. They splatter all over everything and dry like concrete. If you don't get them off ASAP the little B*st*rd's acid in their despicable little worthless bodies will quickly etch your clear coat or paint. A buddy of mine at a Toyota dealership in the area told me to wet a dryer sheet that you throw in there to kill static and make your clothes fresher, and use it to remove the little suckers. I've used it now for a few years and its worked fine with no harmful affects.
I hear ya. Same problem in S. LA, twice a year, concrete guts here too. We're in the middle of the spring phase now, and the wet-towel treatment doesn't cut it for these things. I expect my shipment of Rejex tomorrow and report its effectiveness against love bugs when I get some results.

Reports from other forums suggests it works as advertised. We'll see.

Plastic cleaner is so much less hassle. Also helps using plastic polish the bug juice does not stick anywhere near as bad.

+1 for the H.P. My bike is black and I'd easily be able to see if there were any damage. I spray it on, let it sit for a minute, wipe the bugs off. The bike feels just as slick as before so I don't even bother to re-apply Protect All. Looks as good as new!

To Sefferdog and Relli: Since I consider this worthy of a new thread, read my report on Rejex there. I'll be posting it in the next few minutes.

I use HP when the lovebugs are out in FL. Spray the windshield and farring down and wait 5 minutes and wipe them off. No problem on the windshield or farring in 2 years. Everything else takes forever to get em off. +1 for HP and H20.
