I ride a pass almost every day. Windiest place around and some days so scary the cars slow down to 25 mph (I try to skip those days when riding).
The best thing you can do is relax. A rolling bike wants to stay upright even with a decent knock to the handlebars. If you don't fight it mostly the wind wobble will disapate on its own.
I've felt that way about wind for 40 years. That's why I've ridden with a fairing for the last 28. Wind without a fairing or wind with a fairing..it's all the same...tiring.
Never have liked the wind. IT BLOWS!! Seriously, I thought a couple of times that I was going to get blown into the oncoming lane! Not so bad with sportbikes but really noticeable on the flht. Your not alone.
The only thing I "worry" about when riding in the wind is a gust pulling my quick detach windshield off!
Yesterday went up to Shiloh (330 miles round trip) and it was a steady 20-30 mph wind with gusts up to 40 coming out of the nw. As I was heading east, I made sure the windshield was nice and tight...heading west, back home, the wind kept it on for me.
The kind of winds we get here (like yesterday) don't move me around much at all. Not as nice as a still day, but no problems either.
Now if I had a fairing, I might be whistling a different tune.
