Can I reprogram the SERT without going back to the Stealer each time? I'm not happy with the way they are programing my 07 ultra. If I can, please tell me what I need to do it and how do I do it.
i read this and decided to find a dyno owning indy.
So I followed that link and spent 20 minutes reading it. I'm glad I took mine to a dyno shop rather than trying to tune it myself. The SERT tune is obviously not a DIY project.
I bought my SERT from an Ebay store for less than $300. My dealer charged $425 for a dyno tune. The result is my bike runs perfectly. Much better than it did with the PCIII and canned map.

thanks for the info. I did my best to read it all. If I get a laptop, how or what do I use to hook up to the scooter with. I've got cd and some other stange device, but no cord to hook up with. But again thanks for the posting.

Once A Marine, Always A Marine.
You need a set of two cables (part nr 32108-06) you can buy from the dealer and a USB-to-serial interface (preferably Belkin) if your laptop doesn't have a serial port.
