They work pretty good. Not sure about the Custom, but they claim they won't fit with leather bags on a Classic. Of course being the kinda guy I am, I had to put them on a Classic. Just have to bend them in a little bit. They look like they were made for it. Zanotti Motor Co. has the best prices on them.
The idea I have is to get the black ones then at a rally find a good pinstriper and have the gap fillers pin striped. I was thinking it would be subtle yet stylish.
Your right. The catalog says they do not fit the Custom. But like you said, bend them a little bit!
I have a solo seat on mine that was not supposed to fit as well. With just a littleelbow grease it fir into proper position and works great. I would like to get those gap fillers also, and with you already getting them to work, I will just order them. Thanks!
Would you happen to know if the Custom needs the "slotted" fillers? I still have the 05' accessory catalog, you have to choose slooted or non-slotted. I could probably match the paint if I ordered the SG ones. But, I am not sure if the SG comes in rich sunglo blue? Thanks for the suggestion!
I believe the SG ones are attach to the fender as a single piece I could be wrong.
ORIGINAL: Greyrider

The slotted ones are for bikes with bag rails (stock on EG Classic). Custom should just use the regular ones.

They come in many colors now. Of course, when I got mine, it was either chrome or black. [:@]
I think I'll get a pair in Black Cherry just to have them.
Plain chrome ones are on my bike.
