Does the wiring have to be extended when switchin' to Wild 1 508's on a '08 Road King Classic? The Wild 1 website says stock cables can be used, so I'm wonderin' if the wiring for everything, including the internal throttle, is long enough also.
I installed 518's and extended the wiring 8" but would do 10" if I did it all over. The +8 works fine, but +10 would have given it a little more slack. I changed to steel braided lines and used +4 for brake and throttle/idle. Used stock length for clutch but would use a +2 if I did it all over.
I'm not sure on the '08 TBW. This is from the Wild 1 site
