Is it that these shorts help lesson the moisture or do they help more with padding and no underwear seams to sit on? I have just changed from briefs to boxers and that alone, made a HUGE difference too.
Looking at feedback before I buy the shorts. THanks.
Thanks so much for the vote of confidence. In case any one else might ask, you can assure them the LDComfort Riding Shorts are not at all like the cheaper Walmart shorts. The LDComfort Riding Shorts are made from a special dual layer microfiber that keeps the skin dry even when the fabric is wringing wet. This is important because a rider wants to make sure they do not break down the skin with moisture and allow rashes to develop. The endurance riding records in Canada, the USA and Australia have all been set by riders wearing LDComfort. One guy rode 10,636 miles in less than a week with only one pair of LDComfort. (Yes they were washed nightly.) As for the price...if you have two pair and ride 300,000 miles in them that makes them the most inexpensive undergarment you can buy. They will NOT wear out if properly cared for. All that and no seams to sit on and a proper fit for a motorcycle rider. Sizes from 26 inch waist to 54 inch waist. Also, I am on the road now in Las Cruses New Mexico with about 300 Harley riders doing the "Run For The Wall." Tomorrow we head for Texas. I did this ride "All The Way" for the last two years. This year I am Tailgunner for the third platoon.
Don't under estimate the value of good under garments. They make all the difference in the world. I wear silk boxers on long rides, works like a charm. The seams in cotton underwear will wear your a$$ out, quick... 'specially in hot weather.
