Damn I sure am lucky my wife rides herself but when we went on a 3400 mile trip she wanted to ride on the back. I never knew she was there until she would fall asleep and hit me in in the head with hers. Thought about belting her in.
My wife ain't a small one either. took her for a ride with me last summer and I was sitting almost on the tank for the whole ride. I "accidentally" made some questionable moves to get her afraid to ride with me. Better than telling her she was testing the weight limits of my scooter.
Funny you should ask. The bar in the picture is P/N 52933-97A with the pad that matches the Pillow Look seat P/N 52708-97A. In 2005 it was called the tall sissy bar. NowHD makes a taller bar so this one is now called the medium. Well I decided to do a little some thing nice for my wife and bought thenew tall sissy bar 52723-06 (not pictured) for ultimate back support. Don't get me wrong she loves the support. But even though she is over 6 feet tall it is hell kicking her leg that high to get on.
I have the same seat, it is sheer comfort ................
My wife is also not a small girl.....and she does not ride allot with me but i enjoy every min we get together so i just adapt and over come.......I did have to change the seat to make her ride more comfortable...........Just smile gas it and tell her to hang on......

Same feeling here! My wife got out only twice with me this summer and both rides were great. I kept the stock seat to better fit her butt while I usually have the Reach seat on when I'm riding.
How the heck did I miss this post in May, this thread is hillarious.
I was thinking the same thing how the hell did i miss this post.....it is so funny and there are a couple guys that are probably dead by now.....heheheheheheh
