Is there the same amount of room riding 2up on the RK as the EG Classic same seat set up?? Going this weekend to try out the Roadking with my wife (not a tiny girl sz. 14-16) if she ever saw this I'd be road kill for sure!!
I have two Road kings. My wife is 5'9" and about 175 lbs. I am 6'6" and currently losing weight at an alarming rate. Expect to be down under 400 lbs sometime next year. Wife wants to sell both Road Kings and get a Road Glide. Glide has more room.
You should have no problem, but just ad some stopping distance for the extra weight the bike is carrying, yours and hers, plus gear.
Personally I hate passengers on my EGC because I think the brakes suck. Stopping is an adventure. If I could stop buying other toys I'd drop 600 on brembo's for my front end.
Anything has to be better than those POS calipers on my 03
My stomach muscles are killing me from this thread. LOL... you guys are too much.
Can't say anything about my ole lady. Married almost 40 years and she's always been in shape. I'm the one out of shape and she lets me know about it.
Same here, my wife is in great shape at 5'6'' and 120 and I'm the one thats needs to back away from the table. Well........not that bad but could stand to lose 20
the wife tends to step on the footboards to get on cause her legs are too short to reach over I guess but a couple times she has caught me off guard and just about dumped the bike.
Same problem, now I have her tell me that she is getting on the bike. So far she has remembered to tell me. God knows I would have to blame her if I dumped it.
