Power point for GPS...

I hardwired the Zumo to two wires on the headlight wiring harness. I beilieve they are for auxiliary lighing. I just used 1/4" spade (male) conectors that pluged right in to the stock wires. make sure you use the in-line fuse reccommended. Oh yeah the one with the red cap is positive...duh

I don't know what that wire was intended for but I do know it is on the same fuse as the lighter.

That's where I wired mine, I understand the connection is for daytime running lights in Europe...so I was told.

Didn't have that "extra" lead on my police bike harness,i took mine off the lighter and grounded it right on the "neck"of the frame inside the fairing,were there was a extra groundterminal open and unused
