Default Side Bag Lock

Help ! We're supposed to head out in about 8 hours and one of the locks is hosed. I went to open the bag a bit ago and the slot for the barrel key is positioned half way between the two slots on the outside of the cylender. I managed to get the lock out but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to turn the shaft to line up the slot in the barrel with one of the slots to the outside. There's got to be a way so hopefully someone else has figured this out.

Did I mention I'm desperate?

Thanks,

Somebody just had this problem on their TourPack. If I can find the link, I'll post it.

Here's the link. It probably isn't what you want to hear.

Thanks Gart .. appreciate it. Followed the link and see that I need to either file off the tab and/or have the dealer take care of it. I was able to get the bag open and can now at least open and close it. Can't lock it but I can live with that until I can get the lock replaced. Best thing is, now I can head on down the road (make that back roads) for a week or so. Ya'll play safe.
