I use Plexus also. I also drive drag race cars and all the cars have plexiglass windows, and we all use Plexus.
Sometimes you can get it at Home depot but the easiest place to pick it up is the local paintball store. We use it on the face shields.

I used windex on my first bikes windshield and believe that is what caused it to have a foggy appearance, could'nt see anything through it at nite or in direct sunlight..I used pledge for a while on the paint, etc...I now use Plexus, cause the military uses in on their helicopters and they are absolutely streak free and clear as a bell. Been using in on the ultra since I got it, but when gone might go back to the pledge. Looking for a detail brush the other day and found a comode brush with a 14" handle and a real soft ball of ? on the end, really works well for getting in around to motor and tranny.

Make sure it's ammonia free. Ammonia over time does nasty stuff to windshields and aluminum. I've never used Pledge on my bike, but hey, I'm going to. I used to alway use it on the windows for my Jeep soft top. When I started to see the scratches it was time to Pledge again, scratches gone.

H2O is a great product! I use the pressure sprayer at the carwash (filled with H2O) to remove all the bug guts.
When I get home, I dry her off with a cotton towel (pat, pat, pat)... and then a MICROFIBER towel and Maquires spray wax.
Looks great everytime...helps the next bug guts wash a little easier... and oh, what a shine.
I do the same with me truck (see reflection of my rig in my sig).Started this pattern with my Corvette a number of years ago...ALL GOOD.
I've also heard great things about Lemon Pledge, so don't be afraid to try that. I just go with waht has worked for me.

Lemon Pledge. Totally serious. The whole bike. Try it, you'll be sold. If you let it sit for a bit before you wipe it down, it breaks down the bugs pretty well. The only thing you have to have is plenty of rag so you can have a clean one to polish it up at the end.

Baffler1 I use lemon pledge on mine all the time it really brings out the shine. However, I spray it on a microfiber towel then wipe. I don't spray the bike, I find that adds too much and it smears alot.
