I would go to a Power Comander III, and a different air intake system, you'll notice improved performance and no puttering or decompression. It will also allow your bike to run a little cooler.
Tried true duals on my 03 FLHTI one day. Lost low end torque and 5mpg. Switched back to stock the next day. True dual's were advertised no re-map required. Also had stock air cleaner and pipes on bike. Sent back to seller, he refunded part of the costs. With the fuel the way it is glad stock bike gets 45-50mpg. Did install Andrew's 12G cams. Now this set-up does not need a re-map cause lift and duration very close to stock. The true duals did look niece but did not want to go to extra expense of tuner. Just my thoughts.
intake is the choke point for flow changing pipes with out intake will likely hurt perfomance and milage duals, changing intake must retune also duals are designed for wot preformance and wont do much for low end torque wich is were most riding is done so... if u want perfomance do wth 2into1 if u want looks go duals if its only sound do slip ons
