Default Got My New Injectors Today

I am one of those pain in the butts to my dealer. My 06 Ultra had the coughing sneezing problem since I picked it up last October. The dealer tried everything including changing the fuel pump, fuel regulator and even spark plugs before telling me I must have had a bad tank of gas. I told them time and again about the CVO injector replacement but they had never heard of anything like that. I have a stage 1 with SE Pro One Pipes so last week they put stock pipes back on to see what that would do. No change still sneezed and coughed. But that was until 2 days ago when I brought the bullitin to their attention. They immediately sent a bike down (means not running) order to Harley and had the injectors within 24hrs. The bike was dropped off last night and picked up this afternoon and runs like a charm. Not sure how the gas milage will be with the larger injectors but I'll be riding all weekend and will find that out pretty quickly.

Went to my dealer today, asked for the CVO's, they said they would have to do a pressure test on the old injectors to see if my bike qualified for the change.
Called another dealer, they put me on their list, as soon as they get them in they will call me to come in for the change. AMAZING, ISN"T IT?

Meanwhile, I would like to know why the pressure differs from bike to bike. Is it something else that creates that condition with the injector and the CVO is a bandaid to get more fuel or are some injectors faulty. Nobody seems to know this answer including the dealerships.
Anyone?

I dropped my bike off after work today for them to go over it tomorrow. I had been down a couple times prior complaining about it falling on its face on take off and when I get in the gas after a downshift. I will let everyone know what they say.
Thanks,
Neil

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to get my CVO injectors. They ordered them yesterday so we will see how it goes. They installed another map in mine with my SERT last Saturday and tweaked it some and it seems to run better but it is still a little hard to start and pops once in awhile when riding and shifting. It doesn't seem to cough anymore after a cold start when idling, although I have only started it twice since last Saturday.

if you'd have called MOCO cust. svs. about the problem, they'd have told your dealer what to do and you'd have gotten injectors and the download in October.
this fix has been out since then...i had mine done in Sept.

Glad to hear of the SUCCESS story on the New injectors and since the MOCO is installing these on ALL production Bikes after FEB.13 ?, I don't know Why the Stealers are so reluctant do put them in for their customers and go through that HASSLE..... JUST DO IT [in the interest of customer satisfaction] as the Bulletin States....... duh....[:@].... hdman

the CVO's do put out a lot more gas, you may need a pc or sert to calm them down on a stock twin cam.
