I had to have the rear bracket pushed all the way towards the back and then had to really hit the front area over the post hard with my hand to get it to catch the first time. I have read that some people had to put an extra washer in the front post to get theirs to work. Hope yours goes on soon.
if you have a street gilde seat and rear crash bars it will not work i went throw this. I wound up puting it on my wifes rk-coustom i got a mustang .wish the corbin would have fit because it is a great seat

I have a corbin close solo on my streetglide and then wanted to add the rear crash bars. I had to take the seat back to Corbin (I live an hour away from the Hollister factory), and they cut notches for the crash bars. I know it would be a hassle, butmaybe you could send it back and have them do the same...just an idea.
